Key Ingredients

  • Green gram flour (moong dal besan)
  • Cashews (kaju)
  • Spices (cumin, coriander, chili powder, turmeric)
  • Onion, chopped
  • Green chilies, chopped
  • Cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Oil for frying

Tips

  • Soak the cashews in water for 30 minutes before using. This will help them soften and become more flavorful.
  • Don't overmix the batter, as this can make the pakoras tough.
  • Fry the pakoras in hot oil over medium heat. This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from becoming greasy.
  • Drain the pakoras on paper towels to remove any excess oil.
  • Serve the pakoras hot with your favorite chutney or dipping sauce.

Self Life

  • These pakoras are best enjoyed fresh. However, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat them in a preheated oven at 180掳C (350掳F) for 5-7 minutes before serving.
